See Pink!!! Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October

The Women of the Lansing Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will be observing Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Thursday, October 25, 2007. The theme is “Invite One - Inform One” to be held in the Banquet Hall at the Hannah Community Center 819 Abbott Rd. East Lansing MI 48823 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
Dr. Carol Slomski, MSU Professor specializing in breast cancer surgery, Linda Herring, breast cancer survivor, and Rina Risper, founder and owner of the New Citizens Press are speakers for the event.
The program is open to the public. Dr. Surae Eaton, Chair of their Healthy Lifestyle Initiative, will moderate the activity for the program. This activity is being fully funded from a grant provided by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
