LANSING, MI -- Jolinda Wade, mother of Miami Heat's Dwayne Wade and Christine Johnson, mother of Earvin “Magic” Johnson will speak about health issues affecting the family on September 6, 2008 at Bethlehem Temple located at 1518 S. Washington Avenue.  Several Issues will be covered (subject to change):
 
1. Stroke/ Aneurysm
2. Heart Issues
3. Homelessness  and Drug Addiction- Jolinda Wade  and Christine Johnson - AIDS and Drug Addiction
4. Diabetes
5. Cancer
NEW  6. Disabilities

Due to overwhelming requests, we decided to have a Disability discussion. 

It's a well know fact that any of the above referenced disease cause serious disabilities.  Families struggle without the proper resources.  We plan on having some there to talk to you.  If you can't find information at the symposium, we attempt to assist you in finding what you need.

We are looking for families to come to this event. 

Ms. Wade will also have giveaways from Dwayne Wade.  The event starts at 9:30 am and ends at 4:30 pm.
